Reporting and Renewal Guidelines

Only recent grantees are eligible to submit a Proposal for Funding through this process. (grant recipients within the past two years) are eligible to submit a Proposal for Funding through this process.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Report and renewal proposal narrative should not exceed six (6) pages in length, single-spaced, and typed in 12 point font. Answer all of the questions in the order listed and use headings as provided. Do not include any materials other than those requested.
Email the proposal to Proposals@21cf.org. The subject line should read as follows: Name of your Organization – Report & Renewal Proposal for Funding.
If you do not have email, you may mail a two (2) hard copies of the report and renewal proposal to:

(1) Provide a brief, one (1) paragraph description of your organization’s overall mission and goals.

(2) Impact/Outcomes from this grant
Based upon your previous proposal for funding, list your organization’s goals and projected outcomes and concisely indicate the progress achieved toward each goal/projected outcome. Did the outcomes of your work directly affect leaders within your organization, build power for itself and for your local Black community? How many people has your organization or initiative directly impacted during this grant period? Provide a story of a person or group of people who was positively impacted by your work. Briefly indicate how the grant from 21CF has made a difference.

(3) Impact/Outcomes for the renewal request
Describe your organization’s goals, strategies, and proposed outcomes for the current year. Please be specific about how your organization is engaged in organizing, advocacy and/or leadership development. If seeking project support, please provide the project name and descriptions of the project’s goals and proposed strategies. What systemic change do you hope to positively impact? Describe the collaboratives and partnerships you engage, including social conditions, geographic area and ethnicity. Also include the total number of people your organization will engage or work. Describe ways you are intentionally developing leaders within your organization and community.
